MINISTRY TO THE UNBORN AND INNER CHILD
EXTRA HELP FOR MARRIED AND SINGLE PARENTS
There is also provision in Healing Ministries for married couples, to strengthen the marriage in prayer ministry and like those contemplating marriage, dealing with generational matters and ungodly soul ties.
It is our experience that extra ministry might be necessary if the mother has previously miscarried or prior to becoming a Christian has had an abortion. Both these areas carry a high risk of infertility, miscarriages or still births.
Arthur Burk, (Plumbline Ministries) reports finding that practising Christian women are ten times more likely to have ante-natal and birth problems than non-Christian women, according to practising Christian midwives.
SINGLE PARENTS
We know our God has a heart of LOVE and that is to all people. We feel that where a child has been left fatherless in a Christian home, because of bereavement, imprisonment or desertion, and the mother remains unwed, that the local church should heed scripture and aid that family, not only for extra daily needs but spiritually in prayer support, and child rearing.
It is our experience that this is an area in the church that older folk can give not only respite care, but can give invaluable help as a father or grandfather figure. This need not be onerous, but interesting, and challenging.
Prayer for the child/children is part of this role and opportunities abound for influencing the inner child in witness and example. It is our experience that the Lord will honour this work for Him and the love of God shared with each individual returns tenfold as a blessing to all.
There is another group of people who need to be welcomed and special provision made for in the church. This is the unmarried mother who becomes a born again Christian, sometimes, with more than one child.
This is one of the greatest challenges in the church today, because we need to know the heart of God, and His desire for us not to judge, but to reach out in unconditional love, so that both mother and child receive all the blessings of the our Father in heaven.
Illegitimacy has serious spiritual consequences and these should be dealt within the church or at a healing ministry. The same sort of spiritual cover and mentoring from the older generation applies here too. Please contact us if you require more help on this aspect of ministry.
