MINISTRY TO THE UNBORN AND INNER CHILD

 THE FIRST 90 DAYS

The early days of are critical in any pregnancy but for practising Christians it is essential that both mother and baby are bathed in prayer and intercession. The enemy does not want healthy, fulfilled, joyful and spiritual babies, children or adults. They are a threat to his dominion and rule of slavery.

It is during this period that many couples delay letting people know until the pregnancy is well on, that a new baby is on its way. Of course the enemy will take advantage of weak spiritual defences and this is the time when the child is at greatest risk.

This is a mindset that needs serious thought and revising by parents, and some action plan devised within in the local church, which again could utilise the more mature godly persons in a prayer ministry setting.

This should provide a confidential and trusted lifeline, not only for prayer support but also by direct ministry to the unborn child. We will cover this aspect of nurturing as we progress.

This ministry team should also play a supportive role to the mother who might show signs or develop complications in these early days.

For couples who have difficulty in having babies, this might be resolved in a deeper depth ministry with somebody gifted in spiritual discernment.

The cause might lie in previous miscarriages, abortions or something in the family generational line. The success rate in healing these types of problems is very high in the Healing ministries. God is good.

When Jesus Christ was conceived in His mother He used the same blueprint for His own incarnation as He used for all mankind. The only difference was that He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit. He was a true baby. His own lovely spirit took on a mantle of flesh, and it developed over nine months in the womb of Mary.

This was the Lord Jesus at His most vulnerable from the enemy.

In the Gospel of Luke chapter 1, we have the narrative of the conception of John the Baptist, and the Lord Jesus Christ. This often skipped over portion of scripture contains so many gems of fact and truth, of God’s revelation and provision.

We recommend you to read it prayerfully again and again, because it reveals

God’s mind in His purpose and timing for the protection of His precious Son Jesus, in the early days within Mary’s womb. It also reveals clearly the spirituality of babies, in those early days and the interaction between John and Jesus as babies, is so exciting.

God placed Elizabeth and Zechariah at that point of time and at that senior age of life. God blessed them, with a spirit filled baby, a gift and blessing, but also a baby, that was to” grow in the spirit and power of Elijah”.

John the Baptist was conceived six months before Gabriel again appeared, this time before Mary and pronounced God’s purpose for her as the mother of His Son.

The narrative then tells us how Mary then hurriedly went to see Elizabeth, who the angel had told her was also expecting a baby, “because nothing is impossible with God” because she was barren.

Here we see God’s protective plan swing into action. We read that Zechariah and Elizabeth were “upright in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commandments and regulations blamelessly”. Here was a place of refuge for Mary and her newly conceived Son, and she stayed with this spirit filled and spirit blessed family for ninety days. What a lovely protective plan the Lord executed.

In this narrative we can also envisage too, those most suitable to provide a support ministry to those babies and parents who desire to honour God in bringing forth Godly off springs. These are lovely, beautiful, peaceful, obedient and joyful children. This is an exciting and challenging role for the more senior members of the church who having left the more energetic days of youth behind. How privileged to help in a very special way, future children and servants of the Lord.
