Child Pornography is the staple diet of the active Paedophile or those with a predisposition to abuse boys, girls or boys and girls. It is used to seduce and break down inhibition in abuse victims, who are generally drawn into being victims of the pornographic trade.
Child pornography in extremely addictive and is one of the enemy's greatest weapons in securing more abusers to abuse children and in some cases lead the abuser to the path of murdering his victim (s).
Child pornography is not readily available like it was thirty years ago.
Legislation as been enacted to prevent this material being produced, distributed and to have possession of it is a criminal offence.
Whilst it is not readily available in the usual red light haunts in major cities it is still available by way of the Internet, and most traffic dealing in this material is now on this medium. Typing keywords into regular search engine can provide a plethora of sites that have some type of content dealing with child Pornography. WARNING It is a criminal offence to have on your computer material deemed to be child pornography. Do not be inquisitive because what you view will remain on your computer hard drive. This is a crime! Keep clear.
As well as being extremely addictive, it is also very soiling to the mind, and for a disciple of Jesus, this gives a foothold to the enemy. In our ministry to Christian's struggling with sexual sin or even just thoughts bordering on fantasy , yielding to pornography makes the slide downhill inevitable. We have known this in Pastor's and youth leaders as well as struggling young Christian's. Our message is do not yield to viewing anything pornographic or suggestive on the Internet or on television. IT IS POISONOUS TO YOUR SOUL and will hamper your discipleship because it grossly effects your sanctification, weakening your testimony and witness. Guilt, shame and pain is all it brings you and a sense of loss in serving your Lord and Saviour. Be strong and self controlled in this above all other things.
