Total Child Protection For Parents
In The Natural World (22/28)

Love your child for who he is and do not judge him for what he does.

Express this love verbally and frequently. Praise him in his efforts.

Tell him there is no one else like him, and he is so special. Be positive!

Let him feel your love.
Physical touching can feed and nurture love. A simple hug, holding hands and best of all speak into his spirit by looking into his eyes when you express that love.
The eyes are the windows to the soul.

The older child will appreciate the arm round the shoulder routine.
Allow your child to kiss your cheek if they want to and return the kiss to their cheek.
Quality loving is giving plenty of time to your child. Put him to the top of your priorities.
Love is action-something you do and need to do Spend quality time with your child-sharing his interests.
Do more as a family group.
Turn off the TV.
Eat dinner or tea together at least three times weekly.
Never put your child down or be sarcastic.

(Deuteronomy 11:18 NIV)  Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
(Deuteronomy 11:19 NIV)  Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
(Deuteronomy 11:20 NIV)  Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates,
(Deuteronomy 11:21 NIV)  so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land that the LORD swore to give your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.
(Deuteronomy 11:22 NIV)  If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow--to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways and to hold fast to him--
(Deuteronomy 30:9 NIV)  Then the LORD your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The LORD will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your fathers,
(Deuteronomy 30:10 NIV)  if you obey the LORD your God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Law and turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
(Deuteronomy 30:11 NIV)  Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.
(Deuteronomy 30:12 NIV)  It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, "Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?"
(Deuteronomy 30:13 NIV)  Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, "Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?"
(Deuteronomy 30:14 NIV)  No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.
The love of God and His Word alone should be the catalyst where your natural parenting goals meets your spiritual parenting objectives, to join and harmonise into one of discipleship parenting in Christ Jesus.

It is upon Him we lean, and it is through Him, and not through our flesh, that we can best build up our child's self-esteem. Let God's love live through you spiritually, that the love you give your child may be that same source. God bless you.
